Here was my reply:
No…. I don’t agree. I think when we give love, and feel like we aren’t getting love in return, we are just not recognizing the infinite love that we are getting from God [the universe, source]… otherwise we would not have it to give in the first place. Love does not come from us, it comes through us! If we are giving it, we are filled with it!
